Our Mission Statement:
The mission of Camp Teekna is “That I may know Christ” (Phil. 3:10). The purpose is to create a fun, challenging, and positive Christian camping experience which will lead campers to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Camp Teekna strives to develop real relationships with campers, their families, and the community. Campers and staff are given a platform to develop and use their unique gifts and talents.
Our Name:
Teekna comes from the Greek word Tekna, which is translated to mean "child of" or "son of." This captures the mission of Camp Teekna -- to point campers toward a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called the children of God!" I John 3:1
