Camp Teekna exists to lead campers and their families toward establishing or strengthening their relationship with Jesus Christ.  Over the past 11 years, this ministry has reached countless campers and families with the gospel.  We do this by creating a fun, challenging and distinctively Christian camp environment. 

With the recent addition of new programs and access to better facilities at Delaware County Christian Schools Elementary Campus, we are now poised for growth.  In order to accomplish the desired level of growth, we are in need of support in the following areas: scholarships, employment and general program.  These specific funds are explained in detail below.

Camp Teekna is committed to impacting as many lives for Christ as possible.  Although we are committed to providing a very reasonably priced summer camp experience to our camp families, providing a quality program is a costly endeavor.  Unfortunately, there are still some families who wish to attend camp, but can-not afford the cost.  To help expand our influence and aid these families, we will be accepting funds designated for camper scholarships.  These funds will be solely appropriated to support families in need of financial assistance to make camp a reality.

Employment Fund:

Camp Teekna hires only those men and women who are vitally committed to Jesus Christ.  The staff makes or breaks the quality of programming and the effective outreach of the camp.  We are committed to doing everything in our power to ensure that our staff members are able to meet their financial responsibilities.  Many of our potential staff members are enrolled in colleges and universities and find themselves caught in a dilemma. They desire to serve God as a summer missionary at camp, and yet their commitment to education is financially demanding.  Soaring educational and living expenses have widened the gap between so many who have the desire to serve in camping ministry and their ability to do so.  We need your help to fill this gap!  Please consider a gift to our employment fund to help ensure that our employees are able to more easily make the decision to serve with us this summer.  Donate to our general employment fund or to a specific employee.  Many lives will be reached with gospel by each one of them.

General Program Fund:

Please consider supporting our ministry through a donation to the general fund.  These donations will be used where the camp needs them most.  Areas to which funds may be allocated would include, both the scholarship and employment fund as well as program improvement and facility upkeep.  The quality of the program has everything to do with the effectiveness and expansion of the ministry.  With a quality overall program we can, and do attract more and more families each year.  The more we can continue to grow programmatically, the more opportunity there will be for ministry.
